At WERE we are skilled in matching stone and mortar to use like for like conservation Repairs.

We have a vast library of natural stones samples and mortar samples to use for comparisons on our projects. This allows us to identify exactly what is needed in order to match and blend in any conservation and repair work.

We use natural lime mortars in various applications within conservation of buildings and structures consisting of stone or brick. We are also exploring the use of Nano limes, Natural Cement and Slaking to aid us with new approaches to a modern conservation and restoration techniques.

We also provide mortar analysis service, to ensure that new or replacement work, matching existing or historic mortars in performance and appearance.
